A friend of Franz Marc, German artist August Macke’s style was influenced by Impressionism but of an entirely different aesthetic.  His style, often referred to as Expressionism, represents feelings and moods rather than reproducing objective reality, usually distorting color and form.  Tegernsee is one of many landscapes that invites basic needlepoint stitches alone or mixed with  different stitches to create a very dimensional piece. Good for all skill levels.  Measures 13 x 14 ” on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas.  Please indicate your mesh preference in the note section at checkout.
