German artist August Macke’s style was influenced by Impressionism but of an entirely different aesthetic. His style, often referred to as Expressionism, represents feelings and moods rather than reproducing objective reality, usually distorting colour and form. We love all of his abstract work, particularly the more colorful series, such as this gorgeous Farbige Formen canvas. What a terrific accent rug or wall hanging it will be!
