This six-color Northwest Coast design references many aspects of Hopi mythology in an attempt to join one form of native American mythos
to the formal structures of another. The seven worlds of the Hopi, Taiowa, the creator, the twins of the north and south poles, Raven, eagle and the sipapuni up through which human beings have arisen into our various worlds are all portrayed. Measures 10″ x 14″ – as the smaller of several sizes -on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. We are happy to select appropriate silk or silk/merino wool blend threads to help complete.
