Description
Both the
figurative and abstract work of Barry Herem owe much to natural
forms and often to essential shapes from the ethnic or “form
line” art of the Pacific Northwest Coast. Inspired by a Picasso print featuring a dove of peace this is a
serigraph image of four profile faces representing four of the tribal
groups of the Northwest Coast : Tsimshian, Haida, Tlingit and Bella
Coola joined by the unifying image of a feathered eagle. Four Faces will look equally grand as the center of a larger pillow, as a pillow the size of the image, as well as framed for a grouping for a unique wall display. We also like it as a cosmetic pouch – get some fabric and a zipper when you complete the canvas and tote your whatnots in style! Kit includes a 16″ x 16″ on 14 or 16 mesh mono
deluxe needlepoint canvas and all the appropriate silk or merino wool threads
needed to complete. Please indicate your mesh and thread preference in the Notes section at Checkout. Also available in larger sizes.
