Earth has experienced five distinct extinctions epochs millions of years ago.The Acacia tree is well adapted to deserts and tropical areas. Therefore, they have a wide distribution and are native to Australia, South Africa, the Southwestern United States, and South and Central America. They are symbolic of the areas with many species on the endangered list or that have already become extinct. Canvas is available with or without the words. Join us in our mission to help in small but steady measure, one canvas at a time with any one of our canvases/kits for charity. Proceeds from the Extinction Series will go to The Nature Conservancy or the Wildlife Conservation Society. Kit includes this dramatic rhino of which there are five different kinds, all but the white rhino in very small populations. Measures 11″ x 14″ on 13 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas and all the silk or silk/merino wool blend threads needed to complete. 100% of the proceeds goes to charity.
