Description
Now’s your time to stitch Warhol! The artist’s studio is as much an idea as it is a place. It’s structure and organization reflect the artist’s mind and method. The studio might look a chaotic mess to a visitor, but the artist can distil that dispersed energy into something beautiful. A studio that is organized and tightly orchestrated might be another artists mode. Creating a sense of spontaneity from a carefully choreographed composition is another kind of alchemy. Either way, the creative process is the same. The artist will find a workspace in any circumstance. Whether a closet or an airplane hangar, it is a place for ideas and an idea of place. Andy Warhol’s Silkscreen prints included in Hammel’s art: Campbell’s Soup Cans, Marilyn Monroe, Flowers, Elizabeth Taylor, John Lennon, Debbie Harry, Mao, Cows, Dollar Sign and the famous curved couch – an icon in itself. Art Needlepoint is honored to offer her artist studios, which are sold as limited edition prints, after the initial painting is sold. The same applies to our needlepoint canvases. They are a limited edition and will be a joy to immerse oneself in whilst stitching and long thereafter. Measures 30″ x 40″ on 14, 16, or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas.
