Description
The tapestry design Waldteich which roughly translates into English as Forest Pond, was produced by the German artist and designer Otto Eckmann at the very end of the nineteenth century. A beautiful tapestry in its own right, making for a unique and gorgeous needlepoint Christmas stocking sans Santa. The physical and technical style of the composition is simple and straightforward with colours being sharp and focused, therefore, ease of stitching. Measures 12″ x 19″ on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. A 3″ white area can be added on top to personalize the stocking. Please indicate your mesh preference in the note section at checkout just before submit order. We will send the more popular 14 mesh if you do not provide a preference. We are happy to select and add silk threads, silk/merino wool blend or a combination of speciality threads and silk or silk/wool. Please contact us if you would like us to add threads to the canvas.
