Mary Delany began her art of paper collage at the age of seventy two and introduced the world to a new art form. Her paper and paint mosaics are often copied by collage artists today; the originals appearing more as paintings than layers of tissue paper thin collages. Outstanding rose measures 14″ x 14″ on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. We are happy to select and add appropriate silk/merino wool blend or silk threads to help complete. Please indicate your mesh preference in the notes section at checkout just before submit order. We will send the more popular 14 count if you do not provide a preference.
