During the long winter months in Scandinavia, daylight only lasts a few hours. North of the Arctic Circle, for several days the sun never even rises above the horizon! The Christmas holidays bring welcome cheer during this cold and gloomy period. Traditional woolen stockings are enlivened with stylized wintery motifs such as spruce trees, snowflakes and reindeer. Reindeer and snowflakes Christmas stocking is one of Nordic Inspired Christmas Stockings. Measures 12″ x 20.5″ long – more in keeping with the customary six for Scandinavian stockings. If you would like to add an area along the top so to showcase a name then the stocking will measure 21″ long. We are partial to silk or merino wool, and will gladly select and add threads of your choice to help complete this beautiful canvas. Available in 14, 16, or 18 mesh.
