A friend of Matisse, Leger, Modigliani and others, Gris is best considered a Cubist painter, whose insight and technique expanded the worlds of art and theater (created ballet costumes for Sergei Diaghilev,and the famous Ballet Russes).  Guitar and Table is a perennial favorite.  Humorous, light and a generally fun canvas to stitch. Measures 12″x 16″ on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas.  We are partial to silk threads for this piece, but are equally happy to select appropriate floss or silk threads to help complete.
