Description
The Acoma people associate brightly-colored parrots with rainbows, and thus with rain. Some also see parrots as spirit messengers who bring sun and rain to the dry Pueblo. Ken Thompson creates a charming Southwestern piece inspired by W. Aragon – in keeping with the Acoma pottery tradition. Measures 11″ x 14″ on 14 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. Makes a very nice addition for any area of your home, whether hung or as a small cushion. We are partial to wool threads and will be happy to select the colors needed in either wool or silk to help complete. Please contact us if you would like us to add threads of your choice. Please indicate your mesh preference in the note section at checkout. If you do not provide a preference, we will send the 14 count. This is the smallest of several sizes.
