Description
This Fraktur Man on Horseback is a vertical, rectangular sheet of cream-colored wove paper with an ink, watercolor, and gouache drawing of man in tall black hat, blue coat, red waistcoat, and yellow breeches riding a brown prancing horse with red saddle and green saddle cloth. Horse faces the viewer’s right as man looks at viewer. He holds a sword in his right hand and the horse’s reins in his left. This is an original image from the early 1800’s from the Winterthur Museum’s American Decorative Arts. This canvas would make a beautiful pillow as we show here, and our finisher will be happy to create a pillow from your finished canvas. We are happy to select and add wool or silk threads if you wish to help complete the 14″ x 14″ mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. Available in 14, 16 or 18 mesh. Please indicate your mesh preference in the notes section at checkout. If you do not provide a preference, we will send the more popular 14 count. Please contact us if you would like for us to add your choice of fibers. Available in alternate sizes.
