Description
Born in Maine where his English parents settled with their nine children. He changed his forename from Edmund to Marsden in his early twenties. Art studies in USA, and later relocated to Berlin where he continued to paint and became friends with Kandinsky and Marc, painting in the style of abstract expressionism. Flowers in Vase is richly colored and another grand example of his stylized art. Measures 11″ x 14″ on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas.
