Description
Born in Maine where his English parents settled with their nine children. He changed his forename from Edmund to Marsden in his early twenties. Art studies in USA, and later relocated to Berlin where he continued to paint and became friends with Kandinsky and Marc, painting in the style of abstract expressionism. Painting No. 5 is a grand example of his use of scale and color. Measures 14″ x 14″ – the smaller of several sizes – on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. Great for bits and pieces of threads you have that need a home, or contact us and we will be happy to select and add all mandarin floss, silk/merino wool blend or silk threads to help complete. Please indicate your mesh preference in the note section at checkout just before submit order. We will send the more popular 14 count if you do not provide a preference. Please contact us if you would like us to add your choice of threads. Available in alternate sizes.
