Another beautiful canvas by Maria Sibylla Merian, a fine painter and superb naturalist, one of the first woman scientists we know of. Her observations of insects and their relationships with plants revolutionized botany and zoology. This is a lovely rendition for all skill levels and pretty with a soft fine wool or silk threads. Measures 10″ x 14″ – the smaller of several sizes – on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. We are partial to silk threads, and will be happy to select and add all the colors needed to complete. Please indicate your mesh preference in the note section at checkout.
