Description
Severin Roesen was a Prussian-American painter known for his abundant fruit and flower still lifes, and is today recognized as one of the major American painters in that genre from the nineteenth century. This beautiful painting is worth the time and effort when stitched with small stitches and fine threads, such as silk threads that are easy-to-use and the more durable of all fibers for needlepoint. Measures 11″ x 16″ on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. Please indicate your mesh preference in the note section just before submit order. We are partial to silk threads for this elegant work and will be happy to select and add all colors to help complete or any colors that you do not already have in your stash of threads. Please contact us if you would like to add threads to this canvas. Available in alternate sizes.
