Use Brick Stitch for all types of spaces instead of Basketweave. It’s a fabulous stitch for small and larger areas. It can be stitched horizontally and vertically.

It’s easy to execute.

It will make a round space with texture.

For a moon – maybe vertical is better, but you decide depending on the size

of the moon or any other circle.
