One of the most imaginative painters was Henri Rousseau. Surprise is a detail from one of his paintings and sure to inspire all who see your completed weekender bag to say , “Where did you get that?!” The image you see is on both sides of the 18″ x 30″ mono deluxe needlepoint canvas to be made as a weekender travel bag. We show it as a finished “carpet” bag or travel bag – the full canvas is folded in half lined with a material of your choice and handles of your choice (long leather straps ideal). However, you can use it for whatever purpose you wish. Best completed on the smallest mesh you can manage. We are partial to silk threads for this canvas and will be happy to select and add all appropriate colors to help complete. If you want to finish it as a travel bag, the leather straps are available in various shops or you can send it back to us when completed and we will have our finisher do the final touches for you.
