Goyo Hashiguchi. trained at the Tokyo School of Fine Arts, from which he graduated best in his class in 1905. He excelled at wood blocks, and this striking portrait of a young woman is a fine example of his talent with paint. Measures 12″ x 11″ on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. We are partial to silk threads for this piece and will be happy to select and add stranded and or non stranded silk to help complete. Please indicate your mesh preference in the note section at checkout. If you do not provide a preference, we will send the more popular 14 count. Perfect canvas if you always wanted to do a face, but were hesitant. Cal us when you are ready to stitch it and we will give you some tips!
