Description
Horizontal, rectangular sheet of faded laid paper with a drawing of a rooster at center and four pinwheels in scallop-edged circles at the four corners, drawn in black ink and hand colored with bright polychrome watercolors. Rooster is seen in profile, standing facing the viewer’s left. Date painted to left and right of rooster’s body (in black): “1827”. Our canvas measures 12″ x 16″ on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. The kit includes a very detailed stitch guide created by Linda Breman, the canvas and silk threads. Please indicate your choice of mesh preference in the notes section at checkout. If you want to use wool please do not choose 18 mesh and contact us. Silk can be used on all three mesh sizes.
