The first detail of a large needlework, which adorned a bed, made in the early 1900’s in New York from the Winterthur Museum’s American Decorative Arts collection. Originally it was made as one continuous image and we have separated the larger into multiple canvases that you can stitch individually and let stand alone as a decorative pillow or framed art or combine with other sections of the needlework. Will make a wonderful bolster pillow as well. Measures 11″ x 16.5″ on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. Please indicate your mesh preference in the notes section at checkout. If you do not provide a preference, we will send the more popular 14 count. Available in alternate sizes. We are partial to silk threads for this vibrantly colored canvas, and will be happy to select and add appropriate colors of perle cotton, wool or silk to help complete the canvas. Please contact us if you would like for us to add the fibers of your choice.
