A. H. Thayer was an American artist – from New England – who painted beautiful landscapes, portraits and animals enjoying some prominence during his lifetime as painter, teacher and naturalist. We love the moodiness and simple of Cornish Headlands. Look at the light in the left hand upper corner! If you love landscapes, but felt daunted by their complexity or size, this is a great canvas to begin your landscape collection as there is a series of smaller projects depicting beauty in our world. Kit includes a 14″ x 15″ on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas, which is the smaller of several sizes and all the silk/merino wool or silk thread needed to complete.
