White Elephant and Animals by Ito Jakuchu, a pinter from the Edo period when Japan closed its doors to the outside world. Most of his profili body of art is of traditional Japanese symbols. The White Elephant seen here is measures 9″ x 16″ – the smaller of several sizes. A fun project with a silk/wool blend or all silk threads that we are happy to select and add to help complete.
