Adolph von Menzel was a German realist painter working almost entirely in Berlin as a painter and printmaker. Two Swans is unlike much of his oeuvre, boasting a softness and delicacy. Kit includes a 16″ x 21″ stitching area on 14,16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas and all the pretty, durable and easy-to-use silk threads needed to complete. Please indicate your mesh preference in the notes section at checkout just before submit order. We are partial to silk threads for this work, but are equally happy to select appropriate silk or silk/merino wool blend threads to help complete. Please indicae the blend if you would prefer that to all silk in the note section at checkout. Available in alternate sizes.
