Tree of Life worked in 1754 by Mary King of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The picture features a lion and a leopard beneath a large flowering tree with birds and butterflies. This is an iconic image from the Winterthur Museum’s American Decorative Arts. The original is done in silk and metallic threads.
