The original is called “Stars and Stripes”, made by Mary Rockhold Teter in 1861, which now resides in the National Quilt Collection at the National Museum of American History, Kenneth E. Behring Center. at the Smithsonian Our needlepoint canvas is an exact duplication of the original on your choice of 14, 16 or 18 mesh. Measures 14″ x 14″ on mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. We are happy to select and add either wool or silk threads to help complete this lovely work. Please indicate your mesh preference in the note section at checkout just before submit order.
