George Barbier was one of the great French illustrators of the early 20th century. Sortileges is one of his more interesting magazine covers. We love the depth of color, composition and don’t let the detail scare you off. Includes a detailed stitch guide and a canvas measuring 12″ x 15″ on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. We prefer silk threads for this work, but are equally happy to select and add appropriate wool, cotton or silk threads to help complete. Gorgeous piece for a bed or displayed in a rich frame.
