Henry Lyman Sayen, an Early American Modernist painter, was born in Philadelphia in 1875. Sayen studied with Henri Matisse in Paris, and was one of the first American artists to join the Fauvism movement. Measures 13″ x 14″ on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono needlepoint canvas. Great for all skill levels and if you have a fair amount of leftover threads that need a home. We will be happy to send merino wool, silk or silk/merino wool blend thread to help complete if you do not have threads for all the delicious colors. Please indicate your mesh preference in the note section at checkout. We will send the 14 mesh if you do not provide a preference.
