A superb contributor to and a generous patron of the French Impressionist movement and one of the first to be influenced by photography, Gustave Caillebotte painted some beautiful landscapes and moments of daily life. This sailboat on water is a fine example of his use of color and light. Would make a lovely pillow for a home near the water, or frame and display in a collection on a wall. Measures 11″ x 14″ on 14 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. We are happy to select appropriate wool, perle cotton or silk threads to help complete.
