Description
This beautiful quilt pattern adapted for needlepoint contains 25 different blocks. It can be referred to as an “album” or “sampler” quilt–more specifically, a “Baltimore Album Quilt.” Each of the blocks contain a different motif in vivid colors. Will be a delight to stitch in any of the tent stitches, or in combinations of decorative stitches. We will be happy to suggest some stitches if you wish to add texture. The original piece is now a part of the Winterthur collection and dates from 1845 – 1855, was worked with cotton and wool. Measures 16″ x 16″ on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. Kit includes the canvas and your choice of silk or wool colors to help complete. Please indicate your mesh and thread preference in the notes section at checkout. If you do not provide a preference, we will send the more popular 14 count. Available in several larger sizes, including a rug size of 36″ x36″.
