What are they thinking about? What do they make of us? The relationship between man and the animals that become pets goes back through history and seems to cross all boundaries of class, nationality, income and other social structures that usually separate us. I think it must be a very special relationship and I am hoping that my paintings convey just how special it is.” Our Henery is a classic example of sophisticated whimsy.
