Description
Osage Warrior is a profile portrait of a male Native American in ceremonial dress, facing the viewer’s left. He wears a brilliant red feather spray on the crown and back of his head, a black scarf tied around his throat, and a black cloth bound around his chest. Green, blue, red, yellow, and white beaded ornaments decorate his left ear and are banded around his head. A silver arm band engraved with the Great Seal of the United States appears on his left arm just above the elbow. This was originally made in 1806 in the Mid Atlantic area of the United States. Kit includes a 14″ x 16″ stitching area on 14,16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas and all the pretty, easy-to-use silk threads needed to complete. Please indicate your mesh preference in the notes section at checkout just before submit order. If you do not provide a preference, we will send the 14 count. Available in alternate sizes.
