Adapted from a Gruner and Braun’s Sante Andrea Church Frieze. Beautiful colors – you may just want to leave it out on a table after our finisher blocks it and puts it in a lucite frame or wood frame or leaves it as a canvas with backing. Makes for a cheerful Checkers or Chess board canvas! Leave out permanently on top of a card table as shown in the picture below. Kit includes a 20″ x 20″ (stitch area) 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas and all the silk threads needed to complete. We are partial to the silk threads as the lie flatter – better for dice. There are many sites on the internet that sell chess and checker pieces. We are happy to help you find an appropriate set if you do not have pieces for your new canvas.
