Known for her intricately cut paper collages of flowers, Mary Delany was a supreme artist who began her art form in her early seventies in the 1700’s. Her handmade paper mosaics are often mistaken for paintings. Opium Poppy is extraordinary and commanding. Measures 11″ x 14″ on 14, 16, or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas.
