There’s much to be said about the talents of Evelyn de Morgan, a pre-Raphaelite painter and Night and Sleep. Her paintings of women are grounded in spirituality and allegory. While many of her paintings may be very difficult to translate with threads, the scale and color ways of Night and Sleep are very much a nod to tapestry. Measures 12″ x 17″ for a commanding presence.
