Description
“The rights of the imagination are greater than any other rights”, artist Anne Ryan was known to pass along. A designer for ballet costumes and backdrops, as well as a poet and novelist, Anne Ryan began paper and fabric collages later in her life (which are all numbered rather than named) in the mid to late 1940’s. She died young, shortly after some prominent exhibits across the country, but she remains an icon in the collage genre. This terrific canvas begs for a room in your home. Add quiet art to a wall as a wall hanging or complete in wool and delight a floor! Measures 30″ x 34″ on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. Please indicate your mesh preference in the note section at checkout. We will send the 14 count if you do not provide a preference. We are happy to select appropriate wool or silk threads to help complete. Available in several sizes. Please contact us if you would like us to add the fibers of your choice.
