Adapted from an antique Mola pattern, this beautiful travel bag is the largest of our needlepoint bags. Finished size measures a generous 28″ w x 18.5″ high with an 8″ bottom – creating a perfect long weekend bag or use as a small suitcase that you can carry. We show it as a finished “carpet” bag or travel bag – the full canvas is folded in half lined with a material of your choice and handles of your choice (long leather straps ideal). However, you can use it for whatever purpose you wish. Kit includes the canvas and all the appropriate silk/merino wool blend or silk threads to help complete. Available on 14, 156 or 18 mesh hobo deluxe needlepoint canvas. Suggest you choose the smallest mesh you can comfortably work with.
