Clara Maria Pope was a British artist from the late 1700’s and early 1800’s. Her earlier art was largely focused on miniatures, which in themselves were well done, but nearly as spectacular as her flower paintings that she began later in her ‘career’. The Peony is a striking realistic representation of one of Nature’s most glorious of flowers. Kit includes an 15″ x 19″ stitching area on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas and all the pretty easy-to-use silk/merino bend or silk threads to help complete.
