Description
An iron gall ink and watercolor drawing from Dauphin County Pennsylvania, somewhere between 1790 to 1815, of a large rampant lion at left and unicorn at right, facing one another and standing on low hillocks with flowering plants. Lion wears a wide, scallop-edged collar around its neck. Scallop-edged triangles in top corners. We think this will make a fabulous addition to a wall display or a very unique and commanding pillow on its own or mixed with others such as a couple below. Measures 11.2″ x 15″ on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. We are partial to silk threads, and will be happy to select and add your choice of fiber to help complete. Please contact us if you would like for us to add your choice of fiber. Available in alternate sizes. Please indicate your mesh preference in the notes section at checkout. If you do not provide a preference we will send the more popular 14 count.
