Justin Abelman, much beloved artist from South Africa, began painting at 10 years old. Boy are we glad he did. His oeuvre is multifaceted and richly detailed naive art that makes for great needlepoint! Lime Tree is a fanciful explosion of shapes and scales, pleasing color palette and invites the basic stitches as well as more decorative stitches if you wish to embellish. A stitch guide is available for this canvas. Measures 12″ x 15″ on 14,16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. We are partial to silk threads, and will be happy to select and add all colors in floss, silk or a mix of threads to help complete.
