Italian botanist and artist Giovanna Garzoni’s gentle art of still life and flowers
look as classic today as when painted during the Baroque era of the
1600’s. Leaves and Roots is a classic and lovely canvas with simple yet striking composition. Great to work with the leaf or other decorative stitches, but equally lovely in continental for the composition and a textured stitch for the background.
