Adapted from a wood block from the early 1900’s and originally intended for a kimono design, our adaption to a rug size is a perfect project for the beginner looking for a larger canvas, as well as the more experienced hand. Work this as either a rug on its own or as the center panel of a larger rug, choosing other designs to border it from our Build a rug series. Kit includes a 35″ x 48″ 13 or 14 or 16mesh mono deluxe needlepoint rug canvas and all the durable easy-to-use silk threads needed to complete. Would also make a beautiful wall hanging tapestry. Also available in a smaller size, as well as a cushion sized canvas.
