Hygeia is a detail from a painting called Medicines – which was the second of three commissioned paintings by Gustave Klimt for the University of Vienna according to the Klimt Organization. Hygeia is the daughter of Asklepios and granddaughter of Apollo and worshiped for her healing powers. This gorgeous canvas measures 26″ x 39″ and is best done on 16 or 18 mesh, but is also available on 14 mesh. Please indicate your mesh preference in the Notes section at Checkout.
