A lovely realistic portrait of a hedgehog – the oft misunderstood critter – by Hans Hoffman. Measures 8″ x 12″ – the smaller of several sizes – on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. We are partial to a fine thread such as cotton, silk or silk/merino blend to get his body just right! Short and long stitches are great for the this way and that way lines – same as continental stitch but stitched left to right or up and down.
