Description
Albrecht Durer was one of the most
gifted and versatile artists, considered the greatest German artist of the
Renaissance. Like his contemporary, Leonardo da Vinci, Durer found wonder in
everyday subject matter. His epitaph reads: “What beauty is, I know not, though
it adheres to many things.” Hands in Prayer is a very popular canvas and also a bit of a challenge. Measures 14″ x 16″ on 14 or 16 mesh mono deluxe
needlepoint canvas. We are partial to silk or perle cotton for this piece, but will be happy to select and add appropriate thread colors in silk, cotton or wool. Available in a
larger size. Please indicate your mesh preference in the Notes section at Checkout.
Please contact us if you would like us to add the fibers of your choice.
