A Spaniard who worked all of his life in France, Juan Gris was one of the leading figures in Cubism. Friends with Leger, Matisse and Modigiliani, Gris painted many wonderful canvases in his brief life. We love Guitar Still Life, which is one of several in a series of everyday objects. Measures 11″ x 15.6″ on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. We are partial to wool for this work, but equally happy to select appropriate wool or silk threads to help complete.
