Description
Have you ever looked a painting and wish you were there? Gateway in Tangier is a beautiful serene painting by Henry Osssawa Tanner. Tanner was the first African-American painter to gain international acclaim. His works of people are dignified, his talent for oil and watercolor equal and his style compelling. Gateway measures 17″ x 20.5″ on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. We are partial to silk for this piece to best capture the light watercolor feel, but will be happy to select and add appropriate wool, perle cotton or silk threads to help complete. Please indicate your mesh preference in the Notes section at Checkout. Please contact us if you would like us to add the fibers of your choice.
