Known for her intricately cut paper collages of flowers that look like paintings, Mary Delany was a supreme artist who began her art form in her early seventies in the 1700’s. Her handmade paper mosaics are often mistaken for paintings. This beautiful flower canvas stitching area measures 11″ x 14″ on 14, 16, or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. We are partial to silk threads for this canvas, and will be happy to select and add appropriate silk or wool colors to help complete.
