One of the more magnificent works by Walter Crane, British painter and prolific children’s book illustrators. This is a detail of a larger motif very well adapted to needlepoint! We love the scale, drama and loving attention to detail without being overly complicated. Measures 11″ x 22.5″ as the smaller of several sizes for a commanding presence. Available on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. Works well with wool, wool/silk blend or silk threads. Please indicate your mesh preference in the note section at checkout. We will send the more popular 14 mesh if you do not provide a presence. Please contact us if you would like to add your choice of threads to the canvas. Available in alternate sizes. Happy to provide stitch suggestions if you wish to provide texture to an area(s) of the canvas, but can be completed with continental or basketweave quite nicely.
