A friend of Franz Marc, German artist August Macke’s style was influenced by Impressionism but of an entirely different aesthetic. His style, often referred to as Expressionism, represents feelings and moods rather than reproducing objective reality, usually distorting color and form. Couple at the Garden Table is an explosion of color! Great if you have bit of different colors of thread in your stash.
